Meet Julie

Julie was born and raised in Louisville, KY.  She first met, and fell in love with her now husband of 35 years, in 8th grade!  A year after high-school, she and her husband, Joe, married.  They have 3 grown kids, 7 grand-kids, and a furry companion, Harvey!  Julie, longed to stay at home with her kids, so she began as an Independent Consultant for a Direct Selling Company.  Just 4 months later, she had built her business enough to leave her full-time job, and work from home.  When Julie was pregnant with her 3rd child, her husband lost his job, and they decided to make a role reversal.  He would stay at home, and she would continue to build her business to support them.  Julie & Joe learned how to work as a team balancing personal and professional life, often blending work related trips into family vacations.  She went on to become an Independent National Sales Director with the company, which allowed the financial freedom for her husband to begin his own business.  In 2014, Joe, was diagnosed with a very rare Neurological Disease called Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).  Their dreams of the future were dashed, as they faced the reality of Joe’s disability and impending, death.  Julie uses Humor, Analogies, and Biblical principles to face what most people could not think of!  You are invited to join Julie, on her journey down the Road of Life, Death, and Everything In-Between!

Julie’s precious husband Joe went home to be with Jesus on November 9, 2018. After Joe’s death Julie went to live permanently in their winter home in Florida. It was there she met another widow who became her best friend. On February 20, 2020, Julie and Paul married in the middle of the pandemic in front of a small group of family, and friends. Both of them know the brevity of life, and that tomorrow is never assured. In light of that fact, they decided to make some major life changes. Julie took early retirement to focus on Writing, and Speaking. Their days are filled with fun, laughter, family, and plenty of challenges to go around. However, they have discovered it is better to navigate the journey of life “together”!
